The product conformity certification project in Niger will be implemented from April 1st, and all controlled products need to provide a conformity certificate during customs clearance.

Starting from April 1, 2015, the Niger National Accreditation Service (AVCN) will implement a new Product Conformity Certification Program (CAP).

The product conformity certification project will verify the conformity of products on the control list exported by relevant countries, to ensure that these products comply with applicable national standards, regional standards or international standards, technical specifications, etc., so as to protect the health, safety and environment of the people of Niger from the harm of unqualified imported products.

Exporters exporting goods to Niger are required to provide a certificate of conformity for customs clearance, which can only be obtained from recognized inspection agencies in their country, such as NormalTCI Nomo Testing.
